A little checkers time..

We decided to play a little (I mean big) checkers game after practicing on Thursday. We stopped by Cracker Barrel to check out their Books on CD that you can rent while you drive and then you turn them back in to anyone across the nation (pretty neat) but walking in we noticed a giant checkers board, so we pulled up a rocking chair and played. Curtis won! Rachel will just stick to golf for now. Sorry for delayed posts. The week has been full of practicing and resting. We do find ourselves with a lot of time either due to early starts each day, or weather has been off and on rain throughout the week. We fill our time with plenty of practice and checking out the local area. We went to the beach last night for a stroll, it was a lightning storm so we didn't stay long. We've watched a few movies this week (Romeo & Juliet, Drillbit, Bone Collector and Terminator). Today is the start of the tournament, so game faces on and everyone of you sending us good vibes!! Reminder to family/friends: The tournament we are hosting is May 10th and we need to fill it up, So keep passing the word along and encourage them to actually call and register at the golf course (we have 4 of the 36 needed teams already written down, so plenty of space to fill). We are in need of raffle prizes so if you know any business owners who could donate gift certificates or if you and your family would like to put together a prize basket, we'd appreciate the help.
